ATTENTION CHRISTIANA BOROUGH RESIDENTS
This is a message from the Christiana Borough office.
We have received a COVID-19 update from Eagle Disposal that reads as follows:
Due to the on-going pandemic which is causing major Driver shortages throughout our country, we’re communicating to you that effective Monday, May 10th, Eagle Disposal will be temporarily suspending the following collection items as a result of having a limited workforce during this COVID-19 pandemic:
Yard waste collection will be temporarily suspended until further notice. We are doing this so we can continue to focus all our efforts and on trash and recycling collection. As you can understand all of the above actions are being put in place to help protect the health and safety of our team members as we get through these challenging times.
After the COVID-19 crisis is manageable, we will resume our normal collection practices and reinstate yard waste collection services as soon as possible. Please continue to check our website and your municipality’s website for updates as well alternate local options for Yard waste.
Eagle Disposal takes great pride in being a trusted partner in the south central Pennsylvania community for the last 20 years. We appreciate your help, your understanding, and your patience as we all continue “navigate” through these unprecedented times together.
Due to the short notice, on Monday May 10th our road crew will be picking-up your yard waste this time only. Thank you Joe, Charlie and Austin for helping out.
Please note, this transcript will be available for you to read on the boro website, facebook and Christiana friends and neighbors.
